The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I have been working for IBM for 27 years now & living in the Greater Mid Hudson Valley Region in upstate New York since 1982. I spent the first 10 years of my career working in various engineering & management positions while the past 17 years I have held numerous Marketing and Sales leadership positions. Currently I am the Program Director responsible for all Market Planning activities for the High End Server Brand (System z) within IBM. When I'm not at work, I am usually spending my time with landscaping around my home; working on my corvette collection (1969; 1996CE; 2003 50th); doing Penn State Alumni Volunteer recruiting in NY; or traveling with my wife, Cheryl, around the country. I still manage to get to several football games every season along with attending the yearly Arts Festival. I am a proud member of: Phi Kappa Phi; Tau Beta Pi; Eta Kappa Nu; and Golden Key National Honor Societies that I was inducted into while at PSU. Some of my fondest memories of PSU in the 1981/1982 time frame include: Football Party Weekends; Phi Psi 500 race (our group went as the MASH unit...I was the priest); The Shanty Gaff oldies night on Thursday nights; Mr. C's Disco dancing on Thursday & Friday Nights; The Phyrst Family sing-a-long on Saturday Nights; Sunday Brunch at Toftrees; and the Spring Regatta. My, the time has flown by!
